Data Licensing

Using AnyUPC data.

AnyUPC compiles product facts from many sources, each with its own license. We track those rights per field and honor them in everything we display and serve, and we ask the same of anyone using our data.

Attribution

Where a source requires attribution — for example nutrition and images from open databases — AnyUPC records and surfaces that attribution on the record. Downstream users should preserve source attribution shown on a record.

Rights-aware fields

Fields carry a rights classification — open, brand-owned, or restricted. The API serves fields according to those classifications and the caller's entitlement, so restricted data is never redistributed by default.

Access tiers

• Display & citation — product pages are public and built to be cited, with provenance visible.
• API — programmatic access under the developer terms and usage tiers.
• Bulk / enterprise — larger data arrangements are handled case by case.
